Patty Hunter, Lead
4-H is one of the largest youth organizations in the world. While participating in 4-H Club, students will learn about basic leadership and citizenship skills through the election of class officers, leading pledges, and learning about what it means to be a good citizen.
In addition, throughout the year, students will compete in four contests: Poster Design, Public Speaking, Constructing a Piggy Bank, and Giving a Demonstration Speech. Winners at the club level will be invited to attend the County Contest for each challenge.
4H Club is only open to fifth grade students. Mrs. Hunter is the sponsor for 4H Club, and will meet with students once a week throughout the year. Our Wilson County 4H agents, Grace Harville and Morgan Beaty will also attend meetings occasionally to judge contests, and give information about other 4H opportunities.
