Mrs. Brandy Comer, Principal
Brandy Comer is proud to serve as the Principal of Lakeview Elementary School. Her journey in education began right here at Lakeview, where she taught 2nd grade and fell in love with the school’s strong community and high standards. Since then, she has served as an Instructional Coach at Watertown Middle and spent over seven years as Assistant Principal at Mt. Juliet Elementary, where she gained extensive experience in instructional leadership and student support.
She is a proud product of Wilson County Schools as MJHS alum, holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Middle Tennessee State University, and earned her master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Lipscomb University. Throughout her career, she has remained focused on fostering a culture of academic excellence, supporting teachers, and ensuring that every child is known, challenged, and celebrated.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling to national parks and historical sites, and live music. She brings energy, care, and a deep commitment to Lakeview’s continued growth and success.
She is honored to lead the Lakeview team and is excited to build lasting partnerships with students, staff, and families in the years to come.
Mrs. Leanna Sullivan, Assistant Principal
Leanna Sullivan is honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Lakeview Elementary School. A proud Mt. Juliet native, she has spent the past 10 years serving in Wilson County Schools—as a 4th grade teacher at West Elementary, a 3rd grade teacher at Gladeville Elementary, and most recently as an Instructional Coach at Gladeville. These roles have fueled her passion for strengthening instructional practices and fostering a positive, student-centered school culture.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Theory and Practice in Teacher Education from the University of Tennessee, as well as an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Lipscomb University. Mrs. Sullivan is passionate about working together with teachers, students, and families to create the best possible educational experience for every child.
Outside of school, she is a proud wife and mom of two toddler boys. Her experiences as both an educator and a parent continue to inspire her dedication to partnering with families and building a strong school community.
Mrs. Sullivan is excited to be part of the Lakeview community and looks forward to contributing to the school’s continued success and joy in the years ahead!
